Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang opened our very 1st outlet in the western part of the Lion City, starting on a new journey to bring Ngoh Hiang closer to people's hearts and palates.

 

With 2 new sauces, Cheese and Thai Mookata along our Signature Golden Squid - a dish that have the ever popular Salted Egg stuffed inside a Deliciously Deep Fried Squid; Zhong Zhong brings a total different dimension to the local Ngoh Hiang Food Scene.

ABOUT US

One of the thriving centres of the city in the heart of Chinatown, South Bridge Road was historically an important street for Singapore.

 

Many historic and important buildings line South Bridge Road like the Sri Mariamman Temple in 1827, Jamae Mosque in 1826, the Central Police Station which was demolished in 1977, Eu Yan Sang traditional Chinese pharmacy in 1910.

Somewhere in a small corner beside the Old Thong Chai Medical Institution, a food legend was born in the 1970’s – Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang

Essentially a composition of various meats and vegetables and other ingredients, such as a sausage-like roll consisting of minced pork and prawn (or fish) seasoned with five-spice powder after which it is named, rolled inside a beancurd skin and deep-fried; this signature dish have stood the test of time and still linger in the taste buds of many throughout the years.

Since then, this traditional Teochew Ngoh Hiang stall have eaten into the hearts of people in Singapore and people all across the world with the sole purpose of providing 100% handmade Teochew delicacies.

After serving countless hungry people through supplying our signature items to Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes and Hawker Stalls; Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang have decided to revamp with a new twist.

For many people, Singapore’s unique hawker culture and a plate of ngoh hiang goes hand-in-hand so it was only logical that Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang took the next step and amalgamated the two.


The result saw us opening our 1st outlet in the western part of the Lion City, selling plates of ngoh hiang that have our Signature Lion Chef Mascot “Xiao Zhong” printed on every takeaway box.

28th September 2018 was encrypted into another part of Zhong Zhong Ngoh Hiang’s history when we opened out very 1st stall with THE Signature Item – The Golden Squid, a dish that have the ever popular Salted Egg stuffed inside a Deliciously Deep Fried Squid.

 

Not to forget our signature chili sauce and 2 new sauces that our Research and Development Team have "Eureka-ed"; Cheese and Thai Mookata to accompany the existing array of delectable Ngoh Hiang selections on display!
